Caipirinha

The national drink of Brazil, and now hugely popular across Europe, the States and the rest of the world. A good Caipirinha is a little time consuming to make but is well worth the effort. Add a spoonful of organic, granulated brown sugar to add extra depth. Most bars will serve this with a straw, but a Caipirinha is best drunk from the side of the glass, using the straining properties of the crushed ice to hold back bits of Lime or undissolved Sugar.

Quick Guide

Mix

2 shots of Cachaca
0.75 shots of Sugar Syrup
1 whole quartered Lime

Shake

Build in the glass, muddle the quartered Lime with the Sugar Syrup, add the Cachaca and lots of crushed ice and churn well.

Pour
